Another milestone ticked – I’ve sent ARCs (Advanced Review Copies) of Indiot
What is the Permanent ARC List? It’s the list of all people who have read and posted a review of Shizzle, Inc on Amazon. As a “thank you,” I will send ARCs of all Isa Maxwell Escapades to those awesome people – so if you’ve posted a review of Shizzle, Inc and would like to be on the list, please let me know.
Another milestone is that the cover and blurb on Amazon have been updated:
I wavered for so long with the cover design, it was a relief to just make the decision and move on. I may decide in the future to revamp the covers again, but I’m happy for now, so I can concentrate on writing and marketing.
And speaking of marketing, #ComedyBookWeek is blowing up – already 48 authors and over 60 books participating! If you have not yet seen it, visit www.comedybookweek.com. There’s still time to add your book or review of one of the participating books. I’m doing one myself, a review of There’s Been a Change of Plans by Amy Koko, and I can’t be happier about discovering a new favorite author.

Your cover turn out great! They fit together so well that I can’t wait to see the 3rd cover. The blurb came together nicely, congrats on that, too! How much of the 3rd novel have you got done? Or are you still on Indiot? I can’t keep up with your multitasking. I don’t know how you do it. Keep up the good work!

Thank you, Olivia! I’m still stuck at 20K on the third novel – it’s so much work to prep a book for publishing! Plus, #ComedyBookWeek is exploding…but I’m about to upload both Indiot and the refreshed Shizzle, Inc, so that will be a weight off my shoulders, Then I have a month to work on the third…

I missed that about getting an advance review copy. Yes, I did review Shizzle, Inc, and so, yes, I’d love an advance review copy. You should still have my email address (I don’t think I signed up to your MailChimp, anyway — my brains have flown out with all that’s happening in the UK just now!).
And, yippee, I’ve just read a funny novel that I could add to your comedy week (unless it’s just for indie-published books, as this book is traditionally published). Will go over to Goodreads now, and check the parameters.
PS Am glad Isa is wearing her sari again on your book cover. I like the half and half image — modern meets traditional, or West meets East. It works very well.
