Anyone wants to host my blog tour?

Hi, everyone,

With the publishing rush almost behind me (still need to fix a couple of formatting issues), I’m looking forward to the next phase – marketing and shameless promotion. On my list of things to do is a blog tour – would anyone be interested in hosting my guest blog or doing an interview? I would offer to host yours in exchange. Probably worth mentioning that I’m not interested in paid reviews, only the genuine ones.

Please let me know and thanks again for your support!

  8. I’d love to interview you/for you to do a guest post on my blog. I’m not a very big blogger but I love connecting with other writers and the sample of Shizzle Inc. sucked me in immediately! The only reason I haven’t bought it yet is because I’m currently broke…I guess I’m just waiting to be discovered:)

  16. Ana, I would love the opportunity to interview you for my blog. I am trying to develop a habit around blogging and interviewing someone is on my action plan. It would be about the book, but also about your blog and writing habits. Would that suit your needs?

  19. Is your book YA or MG- teen. Can you send me a copy (ebook). I need a blog interview as well. My title is Fight With Your Mind Not with Your Fists (MG-Teen) sci-fi, visionary -urban.
Are you in Australia, I did a skype interview a year ago with an author in California, so I don’t know if you have skype there.
    Let me know Ana..

    • Hi, my protagonist is 20 years old and it’s a comedy with a lot of references to drug use, sex. Also a lot of (I hope funny) profanity. Are you still interested? In terms of Skype – I have an account, but we could also do it via email.

      • That’s honest. I don’t know, because I write for children mostly and as a Christian I tend to really monitor what I write. Do you review books or blog books. Do you have a PDF or ebook to send me ? My book is in a contest now I will send it next month if allowed, Fight With Your Mind _ Not With Your Fists. by Kidsmart.
Let me know, or send the book.

      • I’m doing a book review for an author this month so I can’t do it until October. He just sent me two children’s books. I also have to write a screenplay for my MG book this month. October first week is the earliest.. If that’s okay I write the questions between now and then.
Great, you made the list B seller, Yay!

        Take care

      • That would be perfect, actually, as I currently have too many offers. I’d like to spread these guest blogs over a few weeks or even months, to keep the ball rolling. Just let me know when you’re free. Also, the book is available for a free download, this weekend only – please get it now, because I don’t have any other way to provide free copies to reviewers.

  22. Sounds like fun, though I have not many “followers” on my blog, I will take it to G+ as well (7500+ followers there). If we do a swap I would like you to prompt me, so I am not scaring away your audience with something…
    let me know…

    • Hi, Marco – that would be awesome 🙂 I’m happy to do a prompt/interview style. What would be so scary? 🙂

      Like

      • We can do this: I ask 3 questions to you and you answer them + a blog about whatever you feel like and I host it. You end in a prompt (title or topic, min amount of word you want on your blog) and I will write something not scary (as in I may be passionate about Donald trump for president or against Syrian refugees entering Europe or a rant about how gay Firefighters are (they are not). All pretty scary and something you may not want or your blog 🙂 (sorry I am having fun with this…)

  23. Hi Ana, I would happily do an interview and obviously book promotion through that. I write in fantasy, poetry, romance, allegory but blog about writing and currently prepping a book for publishing. I haven’t been going that long but have been longing to start linking up with other authors. Up for it at this end if you are!

I’d be very happy to do an interview with you and have a reciprocal one on your great blog site! Our books are both chick lit kind of category, mine veering to YA and I have lots of adult readers too.
Looking forward to liaising with you

  36. Hi, Ana! (First, I’m also at Spontaneous Whimsy, where I think you might recognize better.) I’m a high school language arts teacher, and our district is getting really enthusiastic about online teaching opportunities, and my Logophiles Unleashed website is my classroom website. I would be incredibly excited if we could work out a way for you to post for my students about the incredible adventure of publishing your book!

All of my sites are pretty new, so I feel kind of bad asking since I don’t get much traffic. The school and/or district would link to the “interview,” and feature it, though. (I spoke with the ed tech coordinator today.)

If you’re interested, let me know. You can contact me via comment at or at mrs.rains.gp@gmail.com.

      • Haha. The problem I’m having with Ignatius is that he doesn’t have any redeeming qualities. I like some pretty despicable characters, I even felt empathic towards necrophilic Lester Ballard in Child of God, but I get nothing from Ignatius. I’ll let you know when I start yours. I’d like to interview you after I read it. Maybe via email?

I like the idea of your offer. It’s a great way to gain exposure. I’m afraid a blog tour on my site wouldn’t gain you as much as it would me but I certainly appreciate the spirit that you have for your adventure.

I’m just getting started myself and perhaps down the road we can exchange blog interviews if my dream pans out. In the meantime, keep up the good fight, and encouraging authors to get out there.

Good luck and I’ll be watching.
